I have two children, and in my spare time I love to bake and play tennis.

About Me

I'm absolutely thrilled to be at Albany Junior High School in Kiwi Whanau as a Homeroom teacher, in addition to being a Maths teacher of Year 7 students. I am passionate about all facets of education and in particular seeing students succeed. Continuous improvement, growth mindsets and excellent manners are key attributes that I hope to add to, in conjunction with the students I'm lucky enough to work alongside each year. Fitness is important to me, so I ensure that I walk each day before school starts and attend the gym. I'm also an avid golfer. I have a daughter who attends a local primary school and a very successful and supportive wife!

I am a passionate, enthusiastic teacher who loves being in the classroom and learning with my students. I have been at AJHS as a Y7 Homeroom teacher since 2014 and have enjoyed observing and cultivating the learning journeys of many wonderful students as they grow and excel through the years at our school. As a Y7 Maths teacher, I am passionate about making maths learning fun and accessible, and I strive to assist and support the Student Leaders in our school as a Leader Mentor.

About Me

I love being an inspiring educator and have enjoyed teaching various year levels over the past two decades. I have lived on the North Shore most of my life, and love its beaches and community events. I enjoy taking my dogs on adventures with my son Lukis. I am passionate about students exploring their creative side through the Arts, digital learning and sport. In my younger years I competed at a high level in aerobics and rhythmic gymnastics as well as working as a fitness trainer and dance teacher. I have previously taught at AJHS and I'm excited to be back on the Year 7 team.

About Me

Kaiako (teacher) of year 7 homeroom and whānau class. I am a life-long learner, Māori-Pasifika wife, and mother of 4 sons. We have returned to Tamaki Makaurau Auckland after time in Kirikiriroa Hamilton, where I was a teacher aide and kaiako in the bilingual space. I enjoy sports, sci-fi/fantasy, Kapa Haka, and I am passionate about hauora health and wellbeing. It is a privilege to walk alongside tamariki and rangatahi at AJHS as they grow into our citizens of the future.
