Albany Junior High School is proud to celebrate more than 40 nationalities and cultures within our school community.

We love the bi-cultural heritage New Zealand has to offer, and are continually building on our schools International footprint. We particularly enjoy our sister school relationship with Aoba Elementary School in Fukuoka, Japan.

We warmly welcome students from all over the world, and have a burgeoning International Students Department, having become the school of choice for students from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Russia and many other countries.

We provide excellent support for our international students in terms of academic achievement, ESOL programmes and pastoral care. The well being and happiness of our international students is paramount to us.
